We are located in New Philadelphia Ohio
Off the Wall Discipleship is located in New Philadelphia, Ohio. We typically have between 20-25 students and are in the perfect spot on the map to take a day-trip to Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh and other fun locations.
New Philadelphia offers many part-time jobs for students to pursue and is home to Kent State University at Tuscarawas, which offers a variety of degree programs.
Housing
OTW students live in fully-furnished houses and apartments
in surrounding neighborhoods of New Philadelphia.
Each house or apartment typically has 5-7 guys or girls who are required to do the weekly chores and daily tasks involved in maintaining a living environment.
This is so that students learn to live in love and responsibility with others.
CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION
We go beyond the classroom to help you
build a faith that’s real, deep, and lived out daily.
Our classes aren’t just lectures—they’re interactive, thought-provoking,
and designed for real-life application.
Covering theology, philosophy, practical life skills, and relationships,
we equip you with the tools to navigate life with wisdom and confidence.
Additionally, you’ll experience weekly chapel services filled with worship,
prayer, and teaching that refresh and refocus your heart.
Because following Jesus is about more than what you know,
we also emphasize life skills training—helping you grow in responsibility,
leadership, and everyday decision-making.
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Every student at OTW is required to have an outside focus on non-class days. Students are to either have a job, be enrolled in school or be an active volunteer in the community.
This is so that students are able to leave the ministry "bubble,"
be involved in their communities and apply what they're learning in classes to every day life and outside relationships.
Our heart is for our students to take what they learn
and go out to make more disciples wherever they go.

Get Involved In the Church
Off The Wall is not here to replace the local church.
Rather, we are here to encourage young adults to participate in it,
stepping up in their levels of involvement.
Each student at OTW is assigned a ministry role to serve in the church,
from working the coffee bar to children's ministry and anything in between.
Students are also encouraged to form connections
with other families in the church outside of the OTW community.
Students attend one of The Branch Church's two locations.
Local students are encouraged to remain in their home churches.
Rather, we are here to encourage young adults to participate in it,
stepping up in their levels of involvement.
